The performance initiated a dialogue between media through improvisation, intertwining instinctive movement, electronic and acoustic music with video and visual art. The performance was not rehearsed in advance, with the aim of achieving uniqueness and spontaneity.

Olga Uzikaeva, the performance coordinator, shared her thoughts on the idea behind this collaboration: “I love working in the field of improvisation. I enjoy working with musicians and mixed media, and we’ve already done some projects with smaller groups. What fascinates me is how the composition comes together on the spot, in the moment, right in front of the audience, as a form of communication. I can always learn something new from artists from other disciplines. We had some structure because the space is quite interesting and complex, but we never know what the end result will be—that’s always something magical and unexpected.”

Photo: Bojana Janjić

The video segment of the program was performed by Paulina Marrón and Aleksandar Lazar, with Tanja Ličina painting live.
