The third novel of the journalist and writer Branko Rosić “The Arrival of the Matador” was presented in the Belgrade cinema Balkan.
In addition to the author, popular musician Ana Đurić Konstrakta, writer and playwright Božo Koprivica, historian Dubravka Stojanović and prominent sculptor Mrđan Bajić spoke about the book published by Laguna. As Rosić is also a former musician, he designed the multimedia promotion, and three DJs were in charge of the musical part of the program: Maria Nordgren from Stockholm, DJ Brka from Belgrade and Chris John from London. The moderator of the promotion was the well-known TV presenter Nevena Madžarević, who immediately noticed the very unusual profile and mix of guests at the promotion who were talking about the book and explained the author’s desire to bring together the Belgrade mainstream in one place. In many of his interesting projects, Rosić was also a collaborator on the popular book “Lexicon of YU Mythology” and is the editor-in-chief of the publication of the Exit festival – 20 years of EXIT activism. He was an active music journalist and his biography includes interviews with important pop culture figures from the area of the former Yugoslavia, as well as with rock and roll greats from the British and American scene. Branko Rosić is a versatile creative artist, previously known as a musician in the punk rock band Urbana Guerilla, the group Viborg Dallas and the electro band Berliner Strasse.
