The third edition of the Non-Aligned Summit Festival took place in Belgrade from September 9 to 12, 2021. Over the course of the extended four-day weekend, Belgrade became a central gathering place for skateboarders from the region, making it a unique event in this part of the world.
In addition to the “street” skating, which is the festival’s initial driving force, the program was designed to include film screenings, photography exhibitions, DIY and filming workshops. The festival was organized to showcase the most current and significant artistic projects by skateboarders from around the world for the first time in Serbia. The primary goal over these four days was to share knowledge and experience from every aspect of skate culture with enthusiasts for whom skateboarding is an essential part of everyday life, as well as to introduce this subculture to those encountering it for the first time.
The films screened on September 10 at the “Balkan” cinema were:
- Drazen Livazović / BIH 5′
- Jonas Strecke – APPARAT2 / Germany
- Veliko Balabanov and Victor Stoykov – Nothing New in the West / Bulgaria 15’
- Bungalow – I Don’t Get Paid Nothing I Do It Cause I Like It / Bulgaria 7′
