Providing space for contemporary art, in all its forms, is the goal of the Foundation.
That is why, this September, the “Balkan” cinema was one of the hosts of the Non-Aligned Summit, a festival that grew from a street skateboarding competition into a four-day event enriched with exhibitions, film screenings, musical programs, and educational workshops.
Within the cinema walls, the Brazilian film Imaterial was screened, and many visitors and professional skateboarders had the opportunity to find their own inspiration in this unique setting.
It was a spontaneous and truly distinctive evening of contemporary artistic expression, filled with the sounds of skateboards, the aesthetics of works created within the “Balkan Live” project, and a pulsating energy that will be remembered.
